LAPTOP DELL Latitude D610?
Hi all, if I have this Dell Latitude laptop D610. and enters standby mode does not work when I close the lid. and in the dropdown menu when I close the lid of my portable computer "no options c / Is there another way you can use to put the laptop on standy on / standby when i close the lid? I left the computer after each use to avoid draining the battery.
The D610 should support both sleep and hibernation. If the indicators are not there go to support.dell.com and enter your service tag. This route takes you to the support page of your own machine. I the A09 BIOS update Power Manager to load the latest BIOS and download the chipset driver and power conductors. Once all drivers are installed to date go to Power Options control panel and finish of your choice. I suggest you sleep in hibernation, causing no battery drain in this mode.
