Dell Laptop DVD / CD into disrepair?
My laptop is a little over a year recently, the DVD / CD has stopped working properly. It can watch movies, but when I put a CD on the side of the light that usually flashes orange and green, making a strange noise, as they may be trying reading the CD. Each CD that operate as they do not read well or something. By clicking on the properties of the disc shows that it is still a virgin ....... empty space and not play. I've checked everything I know to check and told me that the computer is working correctly when I resolve .... but it is not! lol will not let me read CDs record. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this problem? I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the unit. Any help would be appreciated Thanks!
The same thing happens to me send it to get it fixed. I hope your still under warranty. Call the number on your laptop. replacing my laptop, gave me a new, even if I had to get a little belligerent. LOL
