Laptop Fingerprint Reader Software
backup my preinstall software?
i have a new hp laptop came with windows vista home premium and as well all know it came with a bunch of junk preinstalled i want to install a fresh copu of vista ultimate but there is a fingerprint reader software that are not available for download from hp site i called and there is no way i can get it unless i stick with home edition is there a software i can use to backup the preinstall software that came with my pc and restore it when i install ultimate? thank you
i am not sure if there is a software like that but you can try to save the folder where that software is installed and if possible also its registry to a safe location. then after you installed your fresh copy of os paste the folder where you want to and try run the program. but as i said i am not sure for the software you are talking about.
i have tried this before some software works some dont.
