Studen needing help with how to manage time better?!?
Iam having trouble fitting in time for studying, and all that jazz. I get home a little after 6, Mon- Friday. This is the first year in my life where I am always packed with work. Iam on of those peope that gets quite stressed over work, I like to get it done, but I also like to move on with things. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on managing time properly after a school day.
When I get home from school I, swich out my binders for my block scehduale, turn on laptop/check fbk, and email, and unpack lunchbox eat dinner and then start hw. Sometimes I even start my hw before dinner. Iam a hard worker, but I tend to get sidetracked sometimes.... any good tips??? Iam asking for SERIOUS answers only. Thanks guys!!!
Well, I think you're stressed because you've got your priorities mixed up. don't check facebook and email when you get home! god knows how long you will be on there! the computer always eats up times. every 5 minutes you will say just five more minutes. i know how this goes. when you get home, eat a snack, don't!!!! turn on the computer and start your homework. getting it done before having yr fun on facebook will make you less stressed trust me. i'm like you, i easily get sidetracked and my mind wanders off and i can't concentrate for very long. So i keep music playing (softly) when i'm doing my math hw and i sing along to songs. then i can still have a kinda good time (lol), but still work. also, i take breaks, like i'll do half my math problems, then get up and dance to my favorite song, then go back to working, then take a break awhile later. that way i'm not sitting in my seat for too long (i hate sitting for too long). and these breaks shake the stress and annoyance and too-heavy thinking away for a few minutes. it reenergizes me. also, it helps me set a goal and have something to look forward to which puts me in a pretty bright mood
