Laptop Memory Upgrade Asus
Can I upgrade the memory of my Asus X5ORL series laptop?
I am trying to play a game which says it requires 2gb of memory but my laptop only has 1024MB ( but the computer says it has 830mb or something, why?) . Can I add memory to this laptop, what should I look for when buying memory?
Well it can depend on what type of RAM you have. and if you have any free ports. you can try getting a 2gb stick for it but make sure you have a high buget. laptop ram is usually more expensive.
And yes you can upgrade. if you cant find the right memory just try getting a tower they are much easier to upgrade. you could always buy a cheap on then upgrade it from there thats what i did
and now i have a 8800GTX CPU and a 9800 Graphics card by Nvidea. my PC all together is now worth 3000$ or 2000£
so yeah it would be easier.
