What type of cable, "I have to upload the video from my camcorder to my Sony Mini DV Toshiba Satellite laptop?
My camera is the DCR-HC 62 and comes with a USB cable for transferring video, though the manual says the USB 2.0 would work, I guess that is a standard USB cable. Is there a difference physics? My laptop is the S6848 A305d and has a mini firewire port so I wonder if the pin pin pin 4-4 pin 4-6 or work and why? Thanks in advance for your help. Thanks by the response. I have editing software. I just need FireWire cable and I do not if it is a 4-pin, four pin to 6-pin to 6 pin or I need.
The FireWire 400 should be 4 pin to 4 pin. USB does not work in Vista. - Almost all miniDV VCAM have 4 pin ports. I have an HC-40 - Tosh Almost all notebooks also have 4-pin port I have two P205.
