Laptop Overnight Trolley
Wirleess Network Connection?
Is there something obvious I am not doing? I have been handed a laptop which now has no wireless network connection, it just disappeared overnight! Fn F2 makes no difference, device manager is showing no problems and no updates for the driver, I cannot refresh the network list, it shows none found, the other 15 laptops on the trolley are fine. It is an RM Mobile One 945, I cannot see any well hidden switches and when checking in Network Connections, it is not disabled. Have tried a repair from here which fails. Any suggestions please?

It sounds as though the adapter hardware is faulty at the final transmission stage.
If it thinks it's in place and enabled then you should get some response from a network and see it in the view Wireless Networks window.
