ipod/ laptop/ digital turntable DJs plz answer!?
ok so im 14 gonna be 15 in december. i wanna be a DJ i plan on attending DJ mix academy in 2010. i wanna know if you can be a ipod DJ and use digital turntables. like connecet the ipod to something then to a laptop and digital turntables. so instead of changing the vinyl you can just load it from an ipod, with the ipod stand connected to the laptop so u can search a song on that.
if that makes any sense. and what equipment do i need. i wanna use my ipod for the music and i want to use digital turntables and i think it would b easier to search through my ipod on the laptop.
i have no clue about DJing yet but my dad said for xmas he can get me myDJ equiptment cuz thats really what i want. and what i want to work at. i wanna get that so i can start on my own then start class asap.

Unfortunately I can't answer this question right now, so try asking at kvraudio.com's forum. A lot of musicians and computer DJ's hang out there, I'm sure someone can recommend a good set-up for you.
