Need help choosing a laptop! Toshiba or Gateway?
I’m buying a laptop from circuit city and my max budget is $700. I’ve narrowed it down to two choices (these are the best they had in the price range):
Gateway 15.4″:
• Intel Core 2 Duo T5750
• 320GB hard drive
• Built-in wireless 802.11abgn
• 4GB of DDR2 memory
• Burns DVDs and CDs
• Built-in webcam

Toshiba 14.1″:
• AMD Turion 64 X2 RM-70
• 4GB DDR2 memory
• 250GB hard drive

• Built-in 802.11bgn wireless
• Built-in webcam and mic

I would definately recommend Toshiba over Gateway.
I would, however, suggest that you get a Toshiba that has an Intel processor, as they tend to operate better & faster than AMD processors.
