Is this a good laptop?
1 TB HDD (2 x 500 GB) SATA Dual Drive (7200 RPM) 4 GB of shared memory dual Channel DDR3 1333 MHz Intel ® Core ™ i7 720QM to 1.6 GHz Quad Core Processor (2.8 GHz Turbo mode, 6 MB Cache) 1 GB ATI Mobility video card Radeon HD 4650
At first glance, it looks good ... but at what price? It is almost certain that more internal hard disk space you need. You can save money by get a hard drive that is comfortably large enough for your operating system - 320 GB would be a good thing, but you can come out even with 160 GB. Then used as drive C:, and get a 1TB external USB or eSATA drive attached and use it as D:. (This is assuming there is no need to move the laptop around much, if not move around the external drive would be a huge pain in the rear).
