Wireless Laptop Optical Mouse 3000
help! my wireless mouse isn't working?
i'm on my laptop at work and all a sudden my mouse stopped working. the red light on the bottom of the mouse is on, and the green light is on that little thing that you plug into the usb port. i can see the mouse pointer on my screen but it doesn't move. i restarted the computer several times and it still won't work, and the pointer is on the same spot on the screen.
it's a microsoft wireless notebook optical mouse 3000.

it's not my personal mouse or laptop it's my job's. i checked the mouse it looks like it doesn't take batteries, i don't see where it goes in.
Sounds like the Wireless mouse lost it's association with the reciever. there is a button you press on the mouse to cause this to happen.
